Cernogoraz wins men’s trap shooting gold medal

Croatia’s shooter Giovanni Cernogoraz on Monday won the Olympic gold in the men’s trap at the London Games.

Massimo Fabbrizi of Italy claimed the silver and the bronze medal went to Fehaid Aldeehani of Kuwait.

Thus, Croatian participants in the 30th Summer Olympic Games have so far bagged three medals: two golds and one silver.

Croatia’s best athlete Sandra Perkovic won the Olympic gold in the women’s discus on Saturday, with her throw of 69.11 metres. This past Friday, Croatia’s team consisting of David Sain, Martin Sinkovic, Damir Martin and Valent Sinkovic won the silver in the men’s rowing quadruple sculls.
