”I feel great.” said Ana Konjuh after training at the National Centre in Zagreb, her first workout with a racket in hand after elbow surgery. The surgery she had on January 23rd came just a few days after her return from Melbourne.
The last month and a half Ana has been exercising, five to six hours every day, and now for the first time she has taken a racket in hand. She spent nearly an hour on the court. Naturally, she will continue to do exercises but now combined with tennis.
Thanking all those who have contributed to her recovery and return to the tennis court, Ana told press, “I hope I will play in tournaments again soon.”
On March 3rd she reached her best singles ranking in the world at 198 on the list.
