Korčula Tourist Board invited everyone on his magical island nearby Dubrovnik to taste traditional dishes made with wild asparagus, a delectable plant found in island’s nearby fields.

The wild asparagus is a favorite seasonal ingredient picked during the April-May period.

Students of Korčula culinary school prepare various dishes with asparagus and other local ingredients. For those with sweet tooth they prepare traditional Korčula cakes and pastries, all under the event named Wild Asparagus Day on May 3rd. Find more about the idea here.
