All the museums in Dubrovnik have been closed to combat the spread of corona virus. Every major public museum in Dubrovnik, many of which are located in the historic Old City core, will be closed from tomorrow, Sunday the 15th of March until further notice.
-Following the previous measures taken by the City of Dubrovnik to combat the spread of corona virus, from Sunday the 15th of March 2020 until further notice, all museums in Dubrovnik will be closed to visitors – the official message signed by Dubrovnik Museums’ directors was sent yesterday.
Closed ones are the Rector’s Palace, the Maritime Museum in the Fortress of St. John, the Ethnographic Museum, the exhibitions of the Revelin Archaeological Museum, the Marin Držić House, the Dubrovnik Art Gallery, the Museum of Natural History of Dubrovnik and the Museum of the Homeland War of Dubrovnik.
