mask covid

Starting on Monday the 13th of July, Croatia’s citizens and visitors will be required to wear a face covering or mask when inside public enclosed spaces beyond their homes.

Referring to the current epidemiological situation, Croatian Institute of Public Health issued recommendations and instructions that could more effectively prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus.
According to koronavirus.hr, all Croatia residents will be required to wear face masks or medical masks entering care institutions, stores, hospitality businesses and public transport vehicles, as well as all people employed in above-mentioned institutions and businesses.

From Friday the 10th of July, all organizers of gatherings attended by more than a hundred participants must fulfil specific measures issued by the Croatian Institute of Public Health. It is mandatory to keep written records of the participants to avoid spreading the virus to others.

Remember that the best defense against the virus is to maintain personal hygiene, avoid touching your face area and keep social distance.

Since February 25th there have been a total of 3.775 people infected with coronavirus in Croatia, with 1.142 remaining active.
