Without a doubt the most fabulous Sunday lies for visitors to Ston tomorrow. If you love oysters and beautiful surroundings, then be sure to head to the Riva from 10:30 onwards to sample 2014’s first big harvest.
Organsied by the Ston Tourist Board, Oyster Day is the perfect opportunity to sample Ston’s delicious oysters and discover the town’s rich culture. As well as local oysters and Peljesac wines at promotional prices, visitors will be entertained by the Portun band and a performance of traditional folklore at 12:30. Don’t miss an exhibition of Ivo Vukicevic’s work at Orsan in Mali Ston.
Last year’s Oyster Day saw an incredible 20,000 pieces harvested for the event, with tourists and locals enjoying a wonderful day out.
