Dubrovnik tourism breaks records!

Dubrovnik was one of Croatian cities that noted excellent tourist traffic in the first nine months of 2014. Pearl of the Adriatic could increase these numbers in tourist traffic by the end of the year.

Namely, this year Dubrovnik hosted 121.820 tourists, which is 10% more than in September 2013. The total number of foreign tourists was 117.761 and 4.059 domestic tourists. There has been an increase of 13% in foreign tourists and 1% in domestic, compared to 2013. The most numerous guests arrived from the UK, Germany, US, France, Australia, Austria, Sweden, Spain, Russia, Italy, Croatia, Norway, and Finland.

According to statistics of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, in the first nine months of 2014 city marked record tourism results in all types of accommodation. The number of overnight stays increased by 9% compared to 2013. 6% more tourists stayed in hotel accommodation and 37% more tourists stayed in private accommodation.
