Photo Gallery & Great Experience: First Gypsy Table Pop Up Dinner in Dubrovnik

First Croatian Gypsy Table Pop Up Dinner was held this Sunday in Lazareti with 40 participants and more than delicious five course menu.

The idea was to introduce something yet unknown to the gastronomical offer in Dubrovnik, but very attractive in the world – a Pop Up Dinner, one-time food event offering guests a taste of something different, and in the same time this is a charity event – all the money goes to Dubrovnik’s animal shelter.

As the organizers described it, these events cater to the ‘Experiential Diner’ – one who craves not just an amazing meal, but a new and exciting dining experience. Whether it’s an unexpected location, a personal interaction with the chef, or a unique menu or theme, pop-up dinners serve up something no ordinary restaurant can deliver.

‘Gypsy Table is the first roaming pop-up series in Croatia, so be sure to stay tuned for the latest events held all over the country’, they wrote. Dinner was made by two amazing chefs, Richard Gruica and Damir Šarić, and Richard was more than happy to share this mouth watering menu with Just Dubrovnik team.

Since this is the first, but surely not the last one, we’ll share some more information about this type of dinner:

Location
A big part of attending a Gypsy Table dinner is the excitement of the unknown. Not only that the menu is a surprise, but the location as well. Guests usually receive the information on the exact location up to 48 hours prior to the event. One thing for sure – it is totally unique and an evening to remember.

Charity
Each Gypsy Table event supports and help raise awareness of a unique local charity, with a portion of the proceeds being donated on behalf of Gypsy Table to the charity. By attending a Gypsy Table event, guests will not only have an amazing experience, but will learn all about the charity and the good that you are doing by attending the Gypsy Table event.
