Works on the renovation of the hall of Walls of Ston continue. Around 130 meters of this monument, which includes the tower above the water, will shine in a new light. According to DuList, foot way base of the walls, according to experts, will be reconstructed so that it will resume its original shape. It will again have a staircase (skaline) which will definitely help guide visitors on tours safely.
At the same time, on this part of the wall, a dilapidated fence will be replaced with a metal one. That will also significantly improve the safety of visitors. The works, which were discontinued because of the tourist season, will be finalized by the end of February 2015. The cost of works is estimated at about 800,000 kuna.
